About myself

About myself

Stefani Stocker

practitioner for psychotherapy

Academic background:
Qualified lawyer with 2 state examinations. As a lawyer I worked for many years in this profession, which, naturally, has a lot to do with people.

Again and again I came across conflicts that seemed unsolvable at first glance. It struck me that many of these conflicts initially had a personal background. So I began to deal more intensively with these individual backgrounds and my interest to facilitate grew ever more.
Thus, I took an interest in psychology and psychotherapy that I see not only as a profession, but above all as a vocation.

Since December 2013 I have been licensed as a Heilpraktikerin (alternative practitioner) for psychotherapy by the official medical examination at the Munich City Health Office.

Since then I have been working in my own practice in Munich-Pasing.

I have 3 children, a dog and live with my family in a neighbourhood in the Western part of Munich.

"Und plötzlich weißt Du:
Es ist Zeit etwas Neues zu beginnen und dem Zauber des Anfangs zu vertrauen."
Meister Eckhart

Further qualification:

  • Training in diagnostics and therapy of mental illnesses and training in holistic image and Gestalt therapy at the international forum for holistic psychotherapy in Gilching.
(Degree - alternative practitioner for psychotherapy*)
  • Training in media coaching with Yvonne Grevenitz
  • Training in depth psychology based psychotherapy at the Centre for Naturopathy with Wolfhard König
  • Training in couple therapy at the Centre for Naturopathy in Munich with Wolfhard König
  • Training in solution-focused short-term therapy according to Steve de Shaker at the Centre for Naturopathy Munich

*While psychotherapists are only allowed to use socially recognized methods (cognitive behavioral therapy, psychonalayse, psychotherapy based on depth psychology), the alternative practitioner for psychotherapy has fundamental freedom of therapy and can therefore offer his patients a range of therapies tailored to their individual needs through the use of integrative psychotherapy. This approach is also based on current psychotherapy research: It has been found that it makes sense to exclude certain interventions from various therapy procedures in order to achieve the greatest possible benefit for the patient.
