The general fee for introductory hours is 80 € per hour (60 minutes).
The cost for further therapy sessions vary according to duration and methodology.

Self-payer, private account

As a self-payer you pay for the costs of the psychotherapeutic treatment - which frees you from any formalities. There are no longer any long waiting times that would otherwise arise due to the processing of your application.
Make an appointment and start the therapy.

Your biggest advantage as a self-payer - no information will be passed on to third parties, as is the case, for example, with the consultation of doctors and psychotherapists when billing via the statutory and private health insurance companies.

Under certain conditions, the fee for psychotherapy can be claimed in the tax return, so that you can receive a refund in proportion to your personal income tax rate.


Coverage of costs by insurance companies

Reimbursement from the statutory health insurance scheme

At present, the services provided by alternative practitioners for psychotherapy are unfortunately not covered by the statutory health insurance funds.
 
Reimbursement of private health insurances/ supplementary insurances

The costs of psychotherapy according to the Heilpraktikergesetz are reimbursed by some private insurers or supplementary insurers. Whether and to what extent depends on your personal insurance contract - please ask your insurance company.
